About Dr. Ward
Dr. Ward graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry and received his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine.
He started his residency training in general psychiatry at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and transferred to the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia, midway through his training as a Hurricane Katrina refugee.
After completing his residency training in general psychiatry at the University of Virginia, he moved back to the West coast and had worked as a staff psychiatrist at a county clinic, a consulting psychiatrist at two community health clinics, and as a staff psychiatrist in student health at two different universities before starting his private practice.
He is board-certified by The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
